Frequently Asked ?s

What is your service area?

We serve the South Austin.  We may provide services outside of our area for an additional charge depending on our schedule.  We currently are serving a wide range of areas so please let us know where you live and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Do you board animals at your home?

We currently are unable to board animals at our home but this is a service that we hope to add.  Please continue to check in with us from time to time or contact us.

What does it mean that you are insured?

We are insured by State Farm.  We carry a liability insurance policy that will cover up to one million dollars in damages. This protects you from financial loss in the event we are liable for accidents that occur while caring for your pets. Any responsible professional business should carry liability insurance.

What does it mean that you are bonded?

We are bonded with Business Insurers of the Carolinas. We have received this insurance through the NAAPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters).  We carry a five thousand dollar dishonesty bond. This gives you peace of mind that you will be reimbursed if anything is stolen from your home. You should make sure that any workers who enter your home carry a dishonesty bond

What will you do if my pet becomes ill while I am away?

If we suspect that something is wrong with your pet, we will call you at the emergency phone numbers we have on file for you. We will describe the situation with your pet. If you believe the veterinarian should see your pet, we will transport your pet to the veterinarian’s office for examination and treatment. In the event we cannot reach you, we will decide if your pet should be seen by the veterinarian. If necessary, we will take your pet for treatment. We will use the Vet release form that you have filled out during the meet and greet.  You will be billed for any extra time we spend for these services.

Why would I want to use a dog walker?

If you work long hours at work, have a high energy dog, or have to crate your dog while you are away from home, a dog walker is a wonderful way to give your furry friend some extra TLC during the day.  Even if you have a backyard, a dog walker is a good idea.  Dogs are very social animals and can easily get lonely which can cause them to get into mischief.  Having your dog exercized while you are away will allow you to come home to a relaxed and happy pooch.
